Brett is from a large NSW Aboriginal family from the Wiradjuri nation (Fernandos).

He has 20+ years’  experience in ICT and specialises in strategic advice,  digital  transformation, and project management. He has a history of success  across federal and state government, NFPs, and corporate marketplaces.

His successes include the delivery of the highly publicised  enterprise resource planning (ERP) and identity management projects to  the TfNSW cluster. He also wrote the ICT strategy and the technology  roadmap program for the NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) to enable  their growth from a land claims focus, to an agile, collaborative,  digitised entity, that has now diversified into land development,  property management, employment, training, and the Yarpa Indigenous  business hub.

Brett has also delivered major cybersecurity transformations to Vodafone to protect the network from malicious intrusions.

In 2016, Brett founded Patonga Projects,  Australia's leading Indigenous ICT Consultancy and delivery partner.

Brett also has over 15 years experience in the banking sector in accounting, sales and project management at AMP, NAB, CBA, State Street, Citigroup and NSW Treasury.
