Katja Henaway BCM
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Kat is a descendant of the Mer and Mua peoples of the Torres Strait Islands, with German and Scottish heritage. An experienced business advisor and Indigenous entrepreneur, she has a strong record of unlocking capital for Indigenous businesses, including through the Prime Minister & Cabinet's $90 million Indigenous Entrepreneurs Fund (2018-19) and National Indigenous Australians Agency's $707 million Remote Jobs Economic Development program (2025-26).
Through B2B consulting alone, Kat has raised $49m for Indigenous businesses.
Kat has worked in Sydney, London and Edinburgh with leading organisations including ABN AMRO, Société Générale, EY, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and The Pensions Regulator. She has also designed innovative leadership programs for First Nations people and People of Colour, including Politics in Colour’s Political Candidate Training and AGSM@UNSW’s Indigenous Executive Leaders Program.
Kat is a Fellow of the School of Social Entrepreneurs and currently serves as board member for Wiyi Yani U Thangani First Nations Gender Justice Institute and Generation Women.
Shola Diop MBA

A recent Oxford MBA graduate, Shola is an investment management professional with 10 years' experience across institutional finance and not-for-profit (NFP) management. Shola boasts an impressive global footprint across top-tier financial institutions, including Morgan Stanley, Ernst & Young, and PIMCO, operating in accounting, asset management, institutional investments, and social finance.
Shola has also worked as co-founder and treasurer of a community development NFP and has assisted in raising $2.7m in grant/donor capital and special needs goods. Shola's diverse heritage is of Australian South Sea Islander, Vanuatu, Caribbean and African descent.
Amanda Young LLB
CHIEF CLIMATE OFFICER
Amanda’s expertise is at the intersection of climate, Indigenous people and capital. A South Sea Islander, she has been leading in the Indigenous economic agenda the past 15 years, building on her background as a lawyer, a CEO of the national Indigenous economic foundation and executive director in a global climate and asset management company. Amanda has established Indigenous business programs, the first Indigenous financial edutech platform and is currently an independent consultant supporting the decarbonising of the Australian economy, advising the full spectrum of supply chain on how to unlock Indigenous economies: buy, sell and regulator side. Amanda is an alum of Harvard and Stanford graduate business schools, an Oxford Uni and Rhodes House Senior Atlantic Fellow, alum of Cambridge executive business school and is a writer for the World Economic Forum on Indigenous thought leadership.
Throughout her impactful career, Amanda has raised $39m for Indigenous businesses.
Brett Chamberlain MBA
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Brett is from a large NSW Aboriginal family from the Wiradjuri nation (Fernandos). He has 20+ years’ experience in ICT and specialises in strategic advice, digital transformation, and project management. He has a history of success across federal and state government, NFPs, and corporate marketplaces.
His successes include the delivery of the highly publicised enterprise resource planning (ERP) and identity management projects to the TfNSW cluster. He also wrote the ICT strategy and the technology roadmap program for the NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) to enable their growth from a land claims focus, to an agile, collaborative, digitised entity, that has now diversified into land development, property management, employment, training, and the Yarpa Indigenous business hub.
Brett has also delivered major cybersecurity transformations to Vodafone to protect the network from malicious intrusions.
In 2016, Brett founded Patonga Projects, Australia's leading Indigenous ICT Consultancy and delivery partner.
Brett also has over 15 years experience in the banking sector in accounting, sales and project management at AMP, NAB, CBA, State Street, Citigroup and NSW Treasury.
Raghu Venkat MBA
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Financial strategy executive with 20 years' experience in banking and finance including Westpac, Accenture, GE and Indigenous Business Australia. With extensive experience in finance roles spanning both large corporations and emerging startups, Raghu has developed a wealth of knowledge and expertise in areas such as budgeting/forecasting, financial management, and CFO roles and responsibilities.
